The FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Competition (FRC) is an international robotics event where high school students participate in the design and construction of robots to compete against each other in a fun, safe environment. The FRC program has been available in Western Australia since 2013 and WA teams have participated in both national and international FRC competitions.
In 2021 Western Australia’s held its first robotics competition, The Western Australian Robotics Playoffs (WARP). This WARP event will become an annual competition for Western Australian students to participate in.
This activation is a collaboration of FRC Teams lead by team 7779 from Murdoch University.
