Coogee Folklore Group was formed three years ago by a a group of enthusiastic ladies who are passionate about folk dancing. The focus is on learning folk dances from regions of former Yugoslavia. The dances are high energy and full of fun and can also incorporate singing. Different traditional costumes are worn depending on which region the dance comes from. The group has performed at various multicultural festivals and look forward to future performance around Perth and Western Australia.
