Jack Michael James is a Perth-based singer-songwriter with folk, pop and indie rock influences, performing a combination of acoustic ballads with heartfelt storytelling and upbeat, stamp your feet, clap your hands sing-alongs.

Influenced by artists such as Mumford and Sons, Boy & Bear, Passenger, Dawes, Kaleo, Holy Holy, Gang of Youths, Ball Park Music, Tom Odell, Olivia Rodrigo, Ed Sheeran, Lewis Capaldi, John Mayer and many more, Jack’s crafts catchy and empathetic tunes with his guitar, stomp-box, kick-tambourine and fervent vocals.

Currently playing a combination of covers and original tunes, Jack is constantly working on expanding his repertoire and writing songs as a means to express himself, telling the stories of himself and those around him, exploring themes of love, heartbreak, expectations, struggles, and appreciation of the small moments of beauty in life that we are all searching for.
