Part of the Colours of Coogee showcase, enjoy a selection of songs and dances performed in the Mad Tatter way. Boisterous music, catchy tunes and Morris inspired dance moves!
The ‘Mad Tatters Morris’ dancers are women & men who perform traditional & vigorous dances from English villages along the Welsh border, a tradition that goes back 500 years.
The group performs at community events in colourful “tatter coats”, dancing with sticks and bells accompanied by musicians playing accordions, whistle & drum. It’s been a spectacle of sparkle, colour and fun at festivals for over 10 years.
