The Mad Tatters Morris are showing off everything mad and tatty! Everything from the elaborate costumes, traditional instruments and they’ll even show you a move or two. Come & listen to a bit of their awesome 500 year old history.
The ‘Mad Tatters Morris’ dancers are women & men who perform traditional & vigorous dances from English villages along the Welsh border. The tradition goes back 500 years, performing at community events in colourful “tatter coats”, dancing with sticks and bells accompanied by musicians playing accordions, whistle & drums. They have added sparkle, colour and fun to festivals for over 10 years.
