Merv’s Crazy Crabs will be claw-ing to victory with the Coogee Live crazy crab races. Hosted by Merv himself, there will be three races a day where you choose a crab to cheer for! Lots of fun prizes to be won.
Hot Tip: don’t let size fool you, even the smallest of crabs can be speedy…

Merv Cooper is a professional diver and collector of rare shells, he’s been around the world on some twenty odd occasions and knows a thing or two about the deep blue sea and especially hermit crabs.
Merv is a modern day pirate whose moustache knows no bounds. You may think his favourite letter is ARRHHH but its actually Sea! Merv’s Crazy Crabs™ are the original and the best, established in Perth in 1979.
Crazy Crabs™ is a trademark and has become a household name for these lovable and adorable pets. All our crabs are collected in North Western Australia and over the many years we fall more in love with our Crazy Crabs and know all about em!
