It’s back to basics with The Great Cake-Off – an intergenerational cooking comp! Buddy up with someone from another generation to you (maybe your gran, your uncle, a neighbour or a Fairy Godmother) and bake the most delicious. This competition is all about about taste above presentation, it’s what’s on inside that counts most after all…
Then simply bring your culinary masterpiece to the Ocean Kitchen Garden Stage between 10:30am and 10:55am on Sunday 12th March, 2023 so that the esteemed judges can sample your scrumptious cakes and declare the winner of the inaugural event!
This was a huge hit in 2021, who will take the home the prizes this year…

Something special happens when you bring older and younger generations together. It nurtures understanding and mutual respect so that both age groups can be a resource for the other, sharing experience, stories and insights. It also makes for delicious cakes!
