Named after his wife Jody’s grandmother, Shirley’s embodies comfort and hospitality, offering an intimate space designed to feel like a safe haven. While initially considering outdoor dining, the focus remains on a cozy indoor experience. The bar takes centre stage, with Florian, a sommelier and former restaurant manager at Manuka, curating an expansive wine list featuring selections from California, New Zealand, Italy, Spain, and Australia. Manager Ellery complements the offering with a thoughtfully crafted cocktail menu, ensuring Shirley’s is as much about the drinks as it is about the food.
