Sandy is a multidisciplinary artist and photographer who integrates animation, photography, and video into her work. She has independently and collaboratively designed exhibitions for events like the Perth International Arts Festival, Cocos and Christmas Islands, and France’s UNIMA World Puppet Festival.

Her company’s performances, including Turtle and the Trade Winds, Cry of the Seadragon, Indigo Sand, and Djapu’s Journey, have toured both nationally and internationally. Sandy is deeply committed to working with remote communities in Australia and abroad, creating artistic and theatrical experiences where access is limited. She has contributed to Perth Festival as a designer and artist, developing installations and community-driven exhibitions, and performed with four international companies during the festival. Sandy has also crafted costumes, sets, and puppets for prominent theater companies such as Barking Gecko and Spare Parts Puppet Theatre, and her own productions.

Her festival experience spans over 30 years, featuring roles in performance, design, coordination, and construction across Australian festivals from Christmas Island to the Northern Territory and Western Australia.
