Segaloya Dance will showcase a range of Sega dance from the more traditional style of Sega that you might see danced at night on the beach around a fire to the popular styles danced at big events and hotels.
They’ll also dance some afropop and bollywood fusion to show just how beautifully Sega can blend with other styles.
Everyone’s encouraged to get up, dance and enjoy the hip shaking rhythms.
Segaloya Dance is a group of multicultural women who love to dance the uplifting and joyous style of Sega. Sega hails from Mauritius, Reunion island and the Seychelles and is a cultural dance of these islands.
